The board members have expertise from different business sectors. They support the HiCoders association with their know-how and through active networking.
Mehmet Dogan
Four years ago, Mehmet was among the engineers who launched HiCoders in Zurich Oberland as a social project – with a focus on refugees, women, and children. He still leads the activities today as president of HiCoders. He takes care of the organisational side, the harmony among the team, and the development of the Hicoders association. He is also a passionate instructor of the Web Programming and Java courses.
Hasan Irmak
Hasan is self-employed in the software development field. He is CEO of Image Ware AG. He supports young people on the way to an IT career. That is why he is a passionate member of the Hicoders Board of Directors and wants to contribute to this social project.
Ramazan Özgü
Ramazan studied law at the Universität Zürich and the Donau Universität Krems. He likes to get involved in social projects. He supports HiCoders in the legal field, as well as with project descriptions and research tasks.
Nurgül Ünlü
Nurgül has been working in accounting for over 20 years. At the Fachschule Basel, she continued her education to become a specialist in finance and accounting with a federal certificate. She currently works as Head of Accounting for a large international corporation. She advises HiCoders in financial matters.
Sükrü Ünlü
Sükrü is a CFC logistics technician with a federal certificate as a warehouse manager. He is also a self-employed shoemaker and a dad at home. He is currently learning computer languages.
Mehmet Candemir
Mehmet did his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at EPFL. He has enjoyed working in the IT industry for over ten years because it excludes human emotions and the complexity of human behavior. He likes very challenging, complex problems and the satisfaction that comes with solving them. For the last five years, he has worked as a full-stack developer and software architect. Switzerland has given him a lot, which he now wants to give back through his efforts at HiCoders for social and professional integration
