Frontend Web Programming
Frontend Web-Programming is a multidisciplinary field that focuses on the design, development, maintenance, and management of web-based applications and systems. It includes various principles, techniques, tools and technologies for creating functional, efficient and user-friendly websites, web applications and web services.
Duration: 4 weeks
Start: 21. September 2024
Time commitment: at least 8 hours of lessons plus 8 hours of self-study per week

Java Programming
Master the art of software development
HiCoders offers high-quality IT courses for beginners, career changers and especially for refugees. Our programme is designed to provide participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the IT industry.
This course is specifically designed to teach you the basics and advanced concepts of Java programming and prepare you for a successful career in software development.
Our course not only provides you with in-depth knowledge, but also hands-on experience that you can apply to real-world projects. We combine theory with hands-on exercises and provide you with the support you need to perfect your programming skills.
Duration: 6 weeks

Web Engineering
Web engineering is a multidisciplinary field that focuses on the design, development, maintenance and management of web-based applications and systems. It includes various principles, techniques, tools and technologies for creating functional, efficient and user-friendly websites, web applications and web services.
HiCoders offers high-quality IT courses for beginners, career changers and especially for refugees. Our programme is designed to provide participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the IT industry. The programme is divided into two phases: Fundamentals and Specialisation.
Duration: 9 months
Start: August 2024
Time commitment: at least 12 hours of lessons plus 12 hours of self-study per week

Learnbees Programm
Our online course covers the Spring Boot and Node.js platforms and provides a comprehensive fullstack programming experience. As part of the course, you will have the opportunity to take part in a practical project lasting several months in collaboration with experienced Swiss engineers and gain valuable work experience. The programme teaches comprehensive digital skills such as UI design, requirements management, development, testing, DevOps, project management, agile approach and product development. We also offer courses and workshops to enhance your soft skills. We also provide free software to help you get started.
Duration: 7 months
Time commitment: at least 20 hours per week
Costs: CHF 525 per month
IT for Everybody
We strengthen the media competence of the participants. With our help, they learn the most important computer basics so that they can confidently use the computer at home and at work.
Duration: 10 course days in 4-5 months
Course locations: Bern, Lucerne, Olten, Winterthur

IT for Girls
HiCoders aims to spark an interest in information and communication technologies among girls and young women. They should consciously develop abstract and analytical thinking and learn how to handle new technologies and media responsibly. This course strengthens the self-confidence and competence of girls and young women in relation to the digitalized world.
Duration: 10 double lessons, one course day every other week

In addition to our courses, we also offer intensive full-day boot camps and workshops lasting several hours to cover individual topics in greater depth. We also regularly hold the “ITea”, an online meeting for the exchange of information on IT topics, as well as community events at which external IT experts report on their experiences in the industry and exchange ideas with the participants.
